A note on shrinkage (important!)
Our pieces are made from natural, organic cotton that has not been treated with the harsh chemicals used in the U.S. to prevent shrinkage.
Because of that, you should expect:
- About 1 inch of shrinkage in length after the first wash (sleeves + hem)
- Width stays the same
- Fit becomes a little shorter but still beautifully structured
In Europe, most families hang dry children’s clothes — that’s why their garments stay true to size.
Machine-drying (especially on warm or high heat) will shrink things more.
I personally wash and dry some of my girls’ pieces, and they’ve held up beautifully — they just end up noticeably shorter.
If you prefer extra length or room, size up.
Care
- Wash cold, gentle cycle
- Reshape and lay flat to dry (recommended)
- Or tumble dry low
- Avoid high heat
U.S. Sizing Translation
All French sizes have been converted to familiar U.S. sizes directly on each product page for ease.
